Measure
We confirm the time saved is real. If a step turns out not to be worth automating, it stays manual.
Questions
- Can you build on top of the tools we already use?
- Usually yes. If your systems expose an API, connecting them is often cheaper and less disruptive than replacing them.
- Do we need AI for this?
- Most internal tooling problems are data modelling and validation problems, and AI does not help with those. Where a task genuinely involves unstructured text or documents, an AI step can be worth it; it is proposed only in those cases.
- What happens to our existing spreadsheet data?
- It is migrated. Import tooling is part of the build, and the historical data is verified against the source before the spreadsheet is retired.
