Privacy Notice

What this website collects, why, and what you can ask for. It is short because the site collects very little.

The Weekly Dev SRL · Brussels, Belgium

Who is responsible

The Weekly Dev SRL, based in Brussels, Belgium, is the data controller for personal data submitted through this website. Questions about this notice, or any request described below, can be sent through the contact form.

What is collected

When you submit a project brief, the following is stored: your name, your email address, the project description you write, and, if you choose to answer them, your company name, the project stage, timeline, indicative budget range, and preferred engagement model. The time you gave consent is recorded alongside it.

No account is created, nothing is added to a mailing list, and the optional fields can be left blank without affecting the reply you receive.

Why it is collected

Solely to read and respond to your enquiry, and to keep a record of business correspondence. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, together with the legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry.

How long details are kept

Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the business relationship they relate to. They are deleted on request. Nothing is retained for marketing purposes.

Who else sees it

Enquiries are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own purposes. They are stored in a PostgreSQL database operated for this website, and are visible only to authorised editors of the site. Technical service providers, hosting and infrastructure, process the data only to run the service.

Analytics and cookies

This website works without tracking. No analytics are loaded until you actively accept them in the cookie notice. If you decline, or simply ignore the notice, Google Tag Manager is never requested and no analytics cookies are set.

If you do accept, Tag Manager records which pages are viewed and which links are clicked, so we can tell which articles and services are useful. It is not used to build a profile of you as an individual, and nothing is shared for advertising.

Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under twd-consent, purely so you are not asked on every page. That entry is strictly necessary to honour your decision and is the only thing stored before consent. You can change your mind at any time using Cookie Preferences in the footer.

Session cookies are used only if you sign in as an editor, which requires an account and is not available to visitors.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you can ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its processing, or withdraw your consent at any time. Requests are handled without charge; send one through the contact form.

If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you have the right to complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit).

Changes

If this notice changes, the updated version is published on this page.
